Nail Art Tutorial|Serve Me Some Yummy Donuts With Colorful Sprinkles

Happy Easter! I hope you all are having a great weekend, and for some of you, a nice long weekend holiday.

At one of my previous jobs, there used to be a donut shop near the office, and often the co-workers would rotate on bringing in tasty treats for the entire staff. Sadly, I don't have a donut store near me anymore, but occasionally, my sweet tooth still crave them. This nail art tutorial is, indeed, inspired by these lovely desserts.

Products I used,

  1. Hello Kitty Liquid Nail Art (Minty)
  2. Zoya Nail Polish (Cassi)
  3. Zoya Nail Polish (Kalista)
  4. China Glaze Nail Polish (Golden Opportunity)

For the base, I would recommend to go with pastel shades or light colors.

Paint the tips of your nails with a chocolate brown polish. We want to create the effect of dripping chocolate syrup, and the best way to do this is to put your hands sideway, hold the polish brush 45 degrees to your nails and paint horizontally.

Dot various shades over the brown parts. These are the sprinkles for our "donuts", and the best tool for this step is a toothpick.

And tada! You have adorable sweets right on your fingertips.

What are your favorite sweet foods? Or may be they are a bit too much for you?   ~Angela

And I've recently discovered this yummy cupcake store, and they've won twice on the Cupcake Wars. I never thought a cupcake could taste so good. If you are in the LA area, definitely check them out.

  7. Ugh did you show me donuts? Now I'm SUPER hungry. OK fine I'm lying. Between not being able to comment and now, I already ate a croissant :p I'm beginning to like cupcakes too. Used not to think too much about it, but a good cupcake can be really good!

  8. Same here. I never really liked cupcakes. Well, I guess I just don't like the cheaply made and sugar overloaded cupcakes in the grocery stores. But yes, I agree that a good cupcake can be really good. OK, I'm hungry again since I'm talking about food :P
