Lee Hi First Love Inspired Makeup Tutorial|A Fresh, Charming and Delightful Look

You don't have to be a K-Pop fanatic to admit that it's not just about pretty faces and melodramatic love songs. There are some very impressive raw talents that are destined for limitless possibilities. At only 16 years old, Lee Hi (aka 이하이) has been coined by Korean media as the Monster Rookie.

Check out her newest release, Rose, which showcases her flawless voice and amazing talent.

I've been fascinated by Lee Hi's colorful looks because they suit her quite well - young, fun and bold. So, I'm going to recreate the makeup she wore for a promotional image. I skipped the dramatic false lashes for a wearable style.

Products used,

NYX 5 Color Shadow The Caribbean Collection (I Dream of Aruba)
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil (Zero)
Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eye Shadow Trio (383B Knock On Wood)
Wet n Wild Color Icon Collection Eye Shadow Trio (336 Spoiled Brat)

Apply a light pink all over the upper lid and a dusty wine color on the outer half.

Apply a bright yellow on the inner half of the lower lash line.

Smudge an orange shade on the outer half of the lower lash line and wing the color out.

Line the entire upper lash line with a black pencil liner.

Take a black shadow and smoke out the liner that was just applied. Then use that same liner and line the inner 2/3 of the lower lash line, and the look is finished

To achieve Lee Hi's dramatic and beautiful lashes, a pair of paper lashes will do the trick or you can always just go with mascaras for a more natural result.

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look, and it's perfect for the season. Happy Monday and have a wonderful week wave     ~ Angela

  1. Very pretty! I love yellow/golds/oranges on my bottom lash line, will have to try this.

  2. At first I was worried that the look may be a little too dramatic, but it actually turned out fine. I didn't feel weird wearing this during daytime.

  5. Hey girly, as usual, I'm impressed with your celeb-inspired looks! I think Asian eyes carry a thicker lower lash line well!
